LinkedIn Ads
LinkedIn Ads connections give you access to your company’s campaign and advertisement data.
Source Setup
Etleap uses OAuth to authenticate with LinkedIn Ads. When creating a connection, you will be redirected to your LinkedIn Ads account to authorize Etleap to extract data. Please remember to sign out of your personal account when authorizing.

What Data is Available?

Update-Mode Deletes Support
Deletes are not applicable for this connector as pipelines handle reporting rather than entity data.
LinkedIn Ads connections have both report and entity resources when building pipelines. The report resource (e.g., Ad Analytics Report) offers metrics and pivots for further breakdown. Metrics are additional fields that can be added to your report (e.g., clicks, impressions). Check out the metrics available here . Pivots are further ways to group your results, like conversions or demographics.
You can create LinkedIn Ads pipelines with the following report and entity resources:
Entity | Pipeline Mode |
---|---|
Ad Accounts | Replace |
Ad Account Users | Replace |
Ad Analytics Report | Update |
Campaigns | Replace |
Campaign Groups | Replace |
Conversions | Replace |
Insight Tag Domains | Replace |
Key Considerations
- For the Ad Analytics Report, Etleap uses the Analytics Finder if only one pivot is specified, or the Statistics Finder if more than one pivot is specified. Since the Statistics Finder does not support demographic pivots, only 1 demographic pivot, or up to 3 non-demographic pivots are supported per pipeline.
- The Ad Analytics Report resource returns performance data from the last 10 years and the retention for demographics data is 2 years.
- Demographic pivots only support the top 100 demographic values for each creative for each day.
- Since conversion windows can be set up to 90 days in your Advertiser account, Etleap’s delta mode extractions start from ninety days back by default.
- In order to maintain historical data, Etleap doesn’t delete old data from Ad Analytics Report when refreshing the pipeline since it is possible to have data older than 2 or 10 years according to the report type. Due to this limitation, Etleap will not pull data from before the 90-day window for new campaigns. Data before the 90-day window can be pulled in through a new pipeline.
- There are some restrictions regarding the combination of metrics and pivots when using the Ad Analytics Report.
