Egnyte
Egnyte connections give you access to your team’s cloud file server.
Source Setup
Etleap uses OAuth to authenticate with Egnyte.
The connection setup page will forward you to Egnyte to authenticate and authorize the Etleap application. Etleap will ask for the Egnyte.Filesystem OAuth scope . You’ll
need the following information in order to create a new Egnyte connection:
- Domain Name: Your company’s Egnyte domain name (e.g. https://domain.egnyte.com).
- Base Directory: The path to use as your base directory. Etleap will not look for any files or folders above this path. The default value is
/for the entire file system.
Prefer using an API? Go here and select Egnyte under the Body header to start creating a connection via API.
Permissions
When you authenticate with Egnyte, Etleap inherits the file access permissions of the authenticated user. This means Etleap can only access files and folders that the authenticated user has permission to read.
You may also use a service account with limited access to authenticate. This account requires read access to the files and folders you want Etleap to access and it doesn’t require access to Egnyte’s web UI.
What Data is Available?
You can create Egnyte pipelines for the Excel files in your file server. Pipelines for all entities will work in Replace Mode.
